Anne Cecilie has kept herself busy this spring and is part of four short films that are currently in post-production.
–
Shadow of the Eye (Skyggens Øye), directed by Espen Hansen – a Noroff Production – about Ninjas! Here Anne Cecilie plays a Ninja trying to save the lead from a grusome death, but ends up with a iron arrow in her own back. Professional stunt men are all over this film, and it was all shot with the same type of camera that was used to film the Hobbit! A lot of action and beautful slow motion shots. We can’t wait to see the result.
Birthday Girl, directed by Elisabeth Gripsrud. Anne Cecilie plays a successful blogger.
One day, when you might mean something else (En dag når du kanskje mener noe helt annet), directed and written by Sara Reddy. Here Anne Cecilie is playing a model coming to life out of a fashion magazine .
Vore, directed directed by Ida Neerbye, written by the director and Ole Christian Solbakken. A film about Vorarephilia – the erotic desire to be consumed by, or sometimes to personally consume, another person or creature, where Anne Cecilies character suffers a dreadfull death.
Anne Cecilie just shot a commercial this week for the biggest women’s magazine in Norway – Kamille. It will screen on TV in three weeks, just before Easter Break kicks in here in Norway. The shoot consisted of reading Kamille in a comfy couch all day long. In other words, a pretty feelgood day at work!
Directed by Per-Erik Eriksen/Produksjonsbyrået.
Anne Cecilie is very exited to be the model for this commercial as the magazine portraits healthy and good values, making you feel good about you.
The short film Box (Norwegian: Boks) is directed by Mathias Hamre Askeland. The film is starring Anne Cecilie Ukkelberg and Kenneth Åkerland Berg playing a couple who has been together.. for a while. Being stuck in a photo booth together puts the “for a while” to the test. As the director wanted the situation as real as it could be, most of the dialogue is improvised. Therefore, as an essential part of this production, the actors had to do several normal day activities as the characters during preproduction so that improvising as a couple would be second nature when shooting the film. Release date in March.
..and this week director Iselin Saga will be meeting up with Siri Senje at Norwegian Film institute to discuss Echos future. Exciting times as there are plans for making this short a feature, we´ll let you know how it goes.
Anne Cecilie on set for GoMore. We can´t wait to see the end result! This campaign is going all the way Tarantino-style. It will be a dark comedy commercial, but not for the faint-hearted. But hey, looks like the vicim ain´t doing so bad after all – thumbs up from actress Hege-Anette Ødegaard. First screening will be December 15th 2014.
Anne Cecilie is in todays edition of the Norwegian newspaper Hamar Arbeiderblad. Here you can read about her goals of getting into Norwegian film, and her journey in the US.
